A note from the Publisher

By the time you read this, there will likely be a For Sale sign in the window of our home
office at 121 South Third in Knoxville.

This note is just to let you know that I am only planning to sell our building. The Marion
County Express is NOT for sale, nor is it going out of business in any way, shape or
form.

Over the past few years I’ve been in business, there have been changes. I have less
staff. I do not need an office that size any more. So, I’d rather sell the building to allow
more resources to be put back into the business.

Given the structure of the building, my willingness to sell and relocate will aid in my
friend, Rick Gibson’s, efforts to sell his old business suite. I hope my decision will benefit
us both.

I am unsure of where our home base will be when the building is sold, but again, we’re
not going away.
