including, but not limited to: 5 extra patrol requests, 4 motorist assist, 2 paper services,
1 report of suspicious activity, 1 dispute, 1 report of suspicious person, 1 reckless driver,
1 found item, 1 accident,1 return call, 1 report of livestock in the roadway, 1 rescue, 1
request to assist another agency, and 1 grass fire.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
85 calls including 34 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 24 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject
was booked into the Marion County Jail: Tyler Andrew Menninga, age 27 of Oskaloosa,
was charged with OWI 1st offense.
June 16
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 31 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 16 extra patrol requests, 2 motorist assists, 2 welfare checks, 1 vehicle fire, 1
reckless driver, 1 juvenile call, 1 ATV call, 1 stranded boat, 1 suspicious person, 1
suspicious vehicle, 1 rescue call, 1 disturbing peace and quiet call, 1 accident, and 1
suicidal subject.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 93 calls including 41 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 24 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the Marion County Jail: Brandon Michael Pettyjohn, age 36 of Knoxville, was charged
with theft 5th degree.

follow up calls, 2 paper service attempts, 1 suicidal subject, 1 wanted subject,1 animal
call, 1 motorist assist, 1 return phone call, 1 debris, 1 illegal dump, 1 accident, 1
incomplete 911, 1 theft, 1 grass fire, 1 other call.

arson 3rd degree, criminal mischief 5th degree, assaulting law officer/other-in injury,
indecent exposure, indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft 5th
degree < $300, and interference with official acts; Taryn Elisabeth Steenhoek, age 21 of
Prairie City, was charged with child endangerment-bodily injury; James Lee Schall, age
53 of Knoxville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

call, 1 assist another agency, 1 domestic, and 1 violation of a no contact order.

license denied/revoked-OWI.

Moines, are all being held for other agencies; Larry Eugen Ellis, age 67 of Bussey, was
charged with 2 counts of failure to appear/contempt court; Brianna Lynn Laird, age 21 of
Knoxville, was charged with desecration of a flag or insignia; Jeffrey Ray Wear, age 26
of Pleasant Hill, was brought in on a judgment entry/mittimus.
