Pella Police Report June 22-28, 2025

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of June
22-28, 2025: 206 calls for service, 23 traffic citations, 26 traffic warnings, zero parking
tickets, three accidents, three arrests, four charges, zero juvenile referrals and one
warrant arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 275 incoming telephone calls and 43 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 06/23/25, a subject from Tennessee was charged with public intoxication, 1st
offense. The subject was temporarily incarcerated and subsequently released with a
summons to appear.
• On 06/28/25, a subject from Pella was charged with operating while intoxicated, 1st
offense. The subject was incarcerated.
• On 06/28/25, a subject from Renwick was charged with operating while intoxicated, 1st
offense, and driving while revoked. The subject was incarcerated.
WARRANTS:
• On 06/25/25, a subject from Pella was picked up on a Mahaska County warrant, for
failure to appear. The subject was extradited by the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office.
