Aug. 17
In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 25 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 8 extra patrol requests, 2 juveniles, 2 accidents, 1 request
to check welfare, 1 motorist assist, 1 report of suspicious activity, 1 deer, 1 theft, 1
rescue, 1 report of a suspicious vehicle, 1 wanted person, 1 paper service attempt, 1
report of livestock out, 1 civil matter, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
59 calls including 27 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Steven Howard Funk, age 47 of Knoxville,
was charged with harassment 3rd degree, and false report to public entity; Leodan
Alonso Santa Cruz, age 20 of Pella, was charged with violation of no contact order
domestic.
Aug. 18
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 26 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 11 extra patrol requests, 2 incomplete 911s, 2 motorist assists, 1 wanted person, 1
business alarm, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1 trespass, 1 civil matter, 1 vehicle
unlock, 1 return call, 1 report of a suspicious vehicle, 1 paper service attempt, 1 fire
alarm, and 1 other call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 52 calls including 27 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the Marion County Jail: Christina Marie Savage-Doolittle, age 39 of Knoxville, was
charged with domestic assault-bodily injury 1 st .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 35 calls for service including but not limited
to: 11 extra patrol requests, 8 paper service attempts, 2 theft calls, 2 vehicle
inspections, 2 incomplete 911’s, 2 reports of a reckless driver, 2 reports of a suspicious
vehicle, 1 motorist assist, met with 1 subject, 1 assisting of another agency, 1 return
phone call, 1 rescue call, and 1 trespass call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 74 calls including 11 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the Marion County Jail: Misti Gay Mikesell, age 47 of Knoxville, was charged with
domestic assault-bodily injury-1 st .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 43 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 8 paper service attempts, 6 extra patrol requests, 6 return phone calls, 3 follow up
calls, 2 accidents, 2 motorist assists, 1 incomplete 911, 1 civil call, 1 suspicious vehicle,
1 rescue, 1 burglary, 1 theft, 1 fraud, 1 domestic, 1 transport, 1 welfare check, 1 wanted
subject, 1 debris call, 1 suspicious person, 1 harassment, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 117 calls including 36 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 15 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the Marion County Jail: Arlo James Kelly, age 50 of Ottumwa, was charged with driving
while barred.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 20 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 5 paper service attempts, 3 extra patrol requests, met with 2 subjects, 1 illegal dump,
1 follow up call, 1 welfare check, 1 suicidal subject, 1 rescue, 1 harassment, 1
suspicious vehicle, and 3 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 80 calls including 25 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 18 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Stephanie Jae Craig, age 31 of University Park, was
charged with violation no contact order-domestic; Tyler Scott Eidson, age 32 of
Oskaloosa, was charged with possession-marijuana 1st, and possession of drug
paraphernalia; Terri Lea Vanheukelom, age 50 of Pella, is on hold for other agency;
Austin Jay Chadwick, age 32 from Keokuk, was charged with possession of controlled
substance-marijuana 1 st .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 48 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 13 extra patrol requests, 6 paper service attempts, 4 rescue calls, 3 violation of no
contact orders, 3 incomplete 911s, 3 follow up calls, 2 accidents, 2 harassment calls, 2
return phone calls, 2 transports, 1 suspicious activity, 1 livestock, 1 reckless driver, 1
motorist assist, 1 criminal mischief, 1 wanted subject, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 124 calls including 38 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 16 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Dausin Cardell Olberding, age 22 of Pella, is on hold for
another agency; Tyler John Emerson, age 35 of Knoxville, was charged with possession
of a controlled substance-2nd.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 20 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 3 incomplete 911s, 2 domestics, 2 motorist assists, 2 rescue calls, 1 suspicious
person, 1 escort, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 juvenile, 1 fraud, 1
vehicle unlock, 1 theft, and 3 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 130 calls including 38 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Lyle Adam Riggs, age 29, was charged with driving while
barred, possession-marijuana 1st, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Kevin
Christopher Mortenson, age 40 of Knoxville, was charged with judgment entry/mittimus;
Ashley Nicole Taylor Camacho, age 30 of Sully, was charged with eluding, 2 counts of
assault with injured law officer/other, interfering with official acts-bodily in, and OWI-3rd
offense.
