Judith (Bissell) Ford

Judith (Bissell) Ford, passed away peacefully on September 3,
2025. A Celebration of Life for Judy Ford, 79, of Bussey, will be
held Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at
the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Judy was born in Ottumwa on September 29, 1946, to the parents
of Fred and Beryl Bissell. Judy was a graduate of Ottumwa High
School.
She dedicated her life to providing care to others in need through
her work in home health care. She connected to her patients with
a genuine kindness, compassionate spirit, her desire to help
others, and her gift for bringing joy to those around her. Whether
through laughter or a simple smile, she had a special way of
brightening lives. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting
impression on all who knew her.
Judy is survived by her children, Jennifer Ford and Greg Ford;
stepchildren, Jim (Angie) Ford and Michael Ford (Sarah Moffet);
grandchildren: Brayden Pettyjohn, Dalton Harris, Chloe Ford,
Andrew Ford, Brett Ford, Ashlie Schroeder, Baylie Ford, Carlie
Ford; sister, Diane Lockwood; niece, Lori Lockwood Busboom
(Dale) and nephew, Dennis Lockwood (Stacy).
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Beryl Ford and
her brother-in-law Larry Lockwood.
