Sept. 14
In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 18 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 4 extra patrol requests, 3 rescue calls, 1 suspicious activity,
1 open door, 1 motorist assault, 1 wanted subject, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 accident, 1
paper service attempt, and 3 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
68 calls including 32 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 22 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Carrie Marie Halfpop-Walters, age 45 of
Prairie City, was charged with 3 counts of failure to appear/contempt of court; Jamie
Lamont Nelson, age 53 of Knoxville, was charged with no valid driver’s license.
Sept. 15
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 23 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 5 extra patrol requests, 5 accidents, 3 rescue calls, 1 intoxicated driver, 1 suspicious
person, 1 follow up call, 1 domestic, 1 reckless driver, 1 residential structure fire, 1
incomplete 911, and 3 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 127 calls including 50 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Derrick Damian Norton, age 33 of Indianola, was charged with domestic abuse
assault-1st, contraband/weapon correctional, and controlled substance
methamphetamine.
Sept. 16
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 31 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 8 extra patrol requests, 5 reckless drivers, 3 motorist assists, 3 follow up calls, 2
rescue calls, 2 paper service attempts, 1 juvenile, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 parking complaint,
1 transport, 1 accident, 1 incomplete 911, 1 suspicious activity, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 71 calls including 23 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 23 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 5 subjects were booked
into the jail: Charles William Galeazzi III, age 37 of Knoxville, was charged with
contempt-violating a no contact order; Marcus Edward Alan Allman, age 39 of Prairie
City, was charged with judgment entry/mittimus; Kellie Jo Hawkins, age 33 of Knoxville,
was charged with driving under suspension; Jay Allen Foster, age 50 of Corydon, was
charged with driving under suspension; Victoria Elizabeth Williamson, age 34, was
charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana 1st, and possession of
drug paraphernalia.
Sept. 17
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 34 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 6 paper service attempts, 3 accidents, 2 reckless drivers, 1
vehicle unlock, 1 rescue, 1 suspicious person, 1 motorist assist, 1 follow up, 1 school
bus violation, 1 fire alarm, 1 suspicious activity, 1 found item, 1 missing person, and met
with 1 subject.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 76 calls including 21 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 22 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Richard Brandon Cavin, age 35 of Knoxville, was charged with theft 4th degree
>$300<$750.
Sept. 18
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 28 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 5 extra patrol request, 3 accidents, 2 domestics, 2 return calls, 2 reports of reckless
drivers, 1 juvenile, 1 request to assist another agency, 1 paper service attempt, 1
request to meet a person, 1 motorist assist, 1 found item, 1 follow up, 1 wanted person,
1 rescue, 1 business alarm, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 98 calls including 27 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Shane Michael Winkleman, age 38 of Runnells, was charged with theft 5th
degree >$300, and theft 4th degree >$300<$750.
Sept. 19
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 36 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 6 extra patrol requests, 6 paper service attempts, 5 return calls, 3 requests to meet a
subject, 2 accidents, 2 follow ups, 1 report of a reckless driver, 1 suspicious person, 1
wanted subject, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 transport, 1 report of a power outage, 1 motorist
assist, 1 report of suspicious activity, and 4 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 85 calls including 16 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 24 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 4 subjects were booked
into the jail: Danny Ray Cunningham Jr, age 72 of Knoxville, was charged with 3 counts
of sexual abuse in the 3rd degree; Andrew K Huffman, age 35 of Oak Grove, Mo., was
charged with driving under suspension, operate vehicle without owner’s consent, and
theft 1st degree >$10,000; Amber Joelle Anderson, age 43 of Oskaloosa, was charged
with theft 2nd degree >$1,500<$10,000; Evan Martin Thomas, age 65 of Pleasantville,
was charged with OWI 1st offense.
Sept. 20
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 24 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 2 return phone calls, 2 vehicle unlocks, 1 fight, 1 suspicious
activity, 1 welfare check, 1 paper service, 1 grass fire, 1 rescue call, 1 report of debris in
the roadway, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 100 calls including 37 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 21 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the jail: Landan David Hill, age 23 of Tipton, was charged with public intoxication;
Travis Michael Rogers, age 49 of Solon, was charged with public intoxication and
disorderly conduct-fight/violence; Dana Marie Graves, age 60 of Pella, was charged
with OWI-1st offense.
