Pella Police Report Sept 14th-20th 2025

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Sept.
14-20, 2025: 186 calls for service, nine traffic citations, 54 traffic warnings, two parking
tickets, five accidents, four arrests, five charges, zero juvenile referrals and one warrant
arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 238 incoming telephone calls and 45 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 09/17/25, a subject from Missouri was arrested and charged with operating motor
vehicle without owner's consent, theft 1st, and driving while suspended. The subject
was incarcerated.
• On 09/20/25, a subject from Pella was charged with OWI 1st offense. The subject was
transported to Marion County Jail.
• On 09/20/25, a subject from Chelsea, IA was charged with OWI 2nd offense. The
subject was given a pretrial release.
WARRANTS:
• On 09/19/25, a subject from Pella was picked up on a Marion County warrant for
failure to appear to provide fingerprints. Subject was fingerprinted and released.
