Services for Rebecca “Becky” Kirfman, 68, of Knoxville, will be held on Wednesday,
November 26, 2025, at Pierschbacher Funeral home in Melcher. A celebration of life will
be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. with a time of sharing beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made in care of the family.
Becky was born on November 26, 1956, to Irvin and Delores Bingham. She grew up in
Melcher-Dallas where she graduated with the class of 1976. She was married to Larry
Eugene Kirfman and they were blessed with three sons. Her first-born Owen died in
infancy; and twins: Adam and Alex. She adored her boys and enjoyed watching them
grow into fine young men.
After graduating she began working at a nursing home in Knoxville and then at the
Knoxville VA and after it’s closing she continued at the Des Moines VA. She worked for
the VA for over 40 years. When she retired her family could’ve swore she turned into a
hermit. Becky enjoyed reading and spending time at home.
She is preceded in death by her infant son, Owen Kirfman; husband, Larry Kirfman;
parents: Irvin and Deloris Bingham; and friend, Joe Vrban.
Becky will be greatly missed by her twin sons: Adam and Alex Kirfman; grandchildren:
Daniel and Anna; siblings: Toni (Jim) Johnston, Terry (Sherri) Bingham, Rick (Jennifer)
Bingham, Ron (Linda) Bingham, and Mike (Wendy) Bingham; along with many nieces,
nephews, relatives and friends.
