including, but not limited to: 8 extra patrols, 4 rescue calls, 3 paper service attempts, 2
business alarm, 1 criminal mischief, 1 deer, 1 reckless driver, and 1 accident.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
64 calls including 23 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 9 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject
was booked into the Marion County Jail: Emily Starr Mecham, age 26 of Pleasantville,
was charged with OWI 1st offense, and possession-marijuana 1 st .

to: 4 extra patrol requests, 4 rescue calls, 2 paper service attempts, 1 suicidal subject, 1
motorist assist, and 2 other calls.

the jail: Richard Thomas Smith, age 59 homeless, was charged with driving while
barred, failure to provide proof financial liability, and registration violation.

to: 15 extra patrol checks, 6 paper service attempts, 3 rescues, 2 follow ups, 1 welfare
check, 1 dog, 1 deer, 1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 suspicious person, 1 report of
trespass, 1 fraud, and 3 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 73 calls including 26 911 calls.

into the jail: Tabatha Ann Baker, age 44 of Knoxville, was charged with 2 counts of
violation of probation, and possession of drug paraphernalia; Pedro Daniel Mora
Emestri, age 24 of Pella, was charged with OWI-1st offense, open container-driver 21+
YOA, and provide proof of financial liability.

bodily injury; Jason Tylor Sparks, age 38 of Knoxville, charged with possession of media
exploiting a minor-first.

into the jail: Joseph Rodney Fedkenheuer, age 34 of Batavia, was charged with
possession of controlled substance 1,2,3rd; Devan Charles Grimes, age 25 of Reasnor,
was charged with OWI 1st offense; Shannon Denise Graham, age 57 of Oskaloosa,
was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1,2,3rd; Glenn Allen Freeland,
age 55 of Knoxville, was charged with harassment 1st degree (threats); Carson Lewis,
age 19, Mark Michael Shepherd, age 43, Justin William Rupe, age 30, Tyler William
Thompson, age 22, all from Ottumwa, and David Clan Edmond, age 30 of Waterloo, are
all being held for another agency.

no contact order, 1 incomplete 911, 1 accident, 1 transport, 1 residential fire, and 4 other
calls for service.
