In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 26 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 12 extra patrol requests, 3 rescue calls, 2 paper service
attempts, 2 motorist assists, 1 dispute, 1 incomplete 911, 1 reckless driver, 1 wanted
subject, 1 suspicious activity, 1 accident, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
74 calls including 34 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects
were booked into the jail: Evan Martin Thomas, age 65 of Pleasantville, judgment
entry/mittimus; Gabriel Alexander Wright, age 20 of Newton, judgment entry/mittimus.
Jan. 19
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 30 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 18 extra patrol checks, 3 rescues, 2 accidents, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1
motorist assist, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 report of a reckless driver, 1 paper service attempt,
and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 44 calls including 13 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Gabriel Michael Enfield, age 22 of Knoxville, was charged with OWI-1st offense,
failure to maintain control, and open container-driver 21+YOA.
Jan. 20
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 21 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 12 extra patrol requests, 1 business alarm, 1 wanted person, 1 control burn, 1
vehicle unlock, 1 vehicle fire, 1 request to meet a person, 1 return call, 1 welfare check,
and 1 request to assist another agency.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 66 calls including 16 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 20 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Jeremy Dean Selvage, age 42, was charged with public intoxication, and
disorderly conduct-load noises; Matthew Allen Reisinger, age 45 of Pella, was charged
with violation of probation.

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 34 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 13 extra patrol checks, 5 paper service attempts, 3 motorist assists, 2 rescue calls, 2
incomplete 911 calls, 1 report of fraud, 1 dog call, 1 request to assist another agency, 1
reckless driver, 1 report of suspicious activity, 1 welfare check, 1 follow-up, 1 wanted
person, and 1 report of a suspicious person.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 98 calls including 11 911 calls.

into the jail: Taylor Marie McMurry, age 30 of Des Moines, was charged with possession
of a controlled substance-1,2,3rd; Matthew Barret Coventon, age 46 of Des Moines,
was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of a
controlled substance-1,2,3rd; Harry Miller Partee Jr, age 46 of Knoxville, was charged
with harassment-2nd degree; Tyler Wayne Joynt, age 45 of Knoxville, was charged with
violation of probation; Joey Charlie Michael, age 20 of Oskaloosa, was changed with
failure to appear/contempt of court; Brandon Michael Pettyjohn, age 37 of Knoxville,
was charged with public intoxication, and disorderly conduct-fighting/violence

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 24 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 7 extra patrol requests, 5 paper service attempts, 1 rescue, 1 wanted subject, 1
harassment, 1 debris in the roadway, 1 reckless driver, 1 return phone call, 1 business
alarm, 1 accident, 1 suspicious person, met with 1 subject, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 93 calls including 21 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 17 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 2 subjects were booked
into the jail: Cory Edward Maine Jr, age 27 of Des Moines, was charged with violation of
probation; Donald Michael Carmer, age 53 of Harvey, was charged with driving while
barred, possession controlled substance-1,2,3rd, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

to: 11 extra patrol requests, 3 follow up calls, 2 transports, 2 wanted subjects, 1 rescue,
1 fire alarm, 1 vehicle unlock, 1 accident, 1 motorist assist, 1 paper service attempt, 1
vehicle inspection, 1 theft, 1 reckless driver, and 1 domestic.

barred; Brandon Bleu Agan, age 44 of Knoxville, was charged with violation of
