The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of
March 1-7, 2026: 195 Calls for Service, 26 Traffic Citations, 110 Traffic Warnings, two
Parking Tickets, nine Accidents, three Arrests, three Charges and zero Juvenile
Referrals and one Warrant Arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 246 Incoming Telephone Calls and 73 Total Incoming 911 Calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 03/01/26, a subject from Oskaloosa was charged with driving while revoked. They
were arrested and pre-trial released.
• On 03/04/26, a subject from Oskaloosa was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance, marijuana 1st offense. The
subject was pre-trial released.
WARRANTS:
• On 03/04/26, a subject from Oskaloosa was picked up on a Mahaska County warrant
for failure to appear, original charge was trespass 1st. The subject was transported to
the county line where a Mahaska County deputy took custody of them.
