Linda Rae Agan

March 13, 2026

Linda Rae Agan, 82, of Carlisle, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her
family. To honor Linda’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bessie Spaur Memorial Flower
Garden, as gardening was one of Linda’s many passions.
Linda Rae Goff was born on August 22, 1943, to Jim and Juanita (Covey) Goff at Collins
Hospital in Knoxville, Iowa. She grew up in the Knoxville area and attended Liberty
Country School before later attending Knoxville High School.
Linda was someone who always stayed busy and involved. She was a member of the 3-
Ls 4-H Club and a dedicated member of Zion Methodist Church. While staying active in
her community, she also worked and served as the Veterans Administrator in Knoxville.
On January 19, 2007, Linda married the love of her life, Arnold “Arnie” Agan at the little
white wedding chapel in Las Vegas. The two shared many wonderful memories over the
years. Arnie sadly passed away in 2023, leaving behind the cherished life and
relationship he shared with Linda.
There were many things Linda enjoyed doing in her free time. Spending time in the
garden was her favorite place to be during the warm months, especially tending to her
flowers. She also loved playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her
grandchildren. Something her family will always remember about Linda was her
impeccable timing when sending birthday and holiday cards. It seemed as if she had it
down to a science. She took great pride in making sure everyone received their card on
the exact day of their birthday.
Linda’s greatest blessing was her family, and she never let them forget it. Before Arnie’s
passing, there was nothing she loved more than traveling with him. Having gotten
married in Las Vegas, it was only fitting that the two shared a love for traveling together.
Linda will be deeply missed by her children: Kevin Houser, Chris Houser, and Nick
Woolsey; grandchildren: Theotus Houser, Cirasole Houser, Jory Houser, Jenna Ford,
Jaspyn Beamon, Jayde Barth, Jordyn Houser, Brenden Woolsey, Brylee Woolsey, and
Harper Woolsey; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings: Jane Berry, Richard Goff, Martha
Reed, and Joyce Goff; along with many other extended family members and friends.
She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Arnold “Arnie” Agan, who passed away in
2023; her parents, Jim and Juanita; her brother, Marion Goff; and her sister, Susan
Rowland.
