Pella Police Report Oct. 20-26, 2024:

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Oct.
20-26, 2024: 185 calls for service, 16 traffic citations, 20 traffic warnings, six parking
tickets, five accidents, one arrest, four charges, one juvenile referral and one warrant
arrest.

COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 225 incoming telephone calls and 41 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 10/20/24, a subject from Pella was charged with harassment 1st degree and
violation of a no contact order. The subject was incarcerated.
JUVENILE REFERRALS:
• On 10/21/24, a juvenile from Pella was referred to juvenile court services for assault
with intent to inflict serious injury and criminal mischief 2nd degree. The juvenile was
cited and released to a guardian.
WARRANTS:
• On 10/25/24, a subject from Oskaloosa was picked up on a Mahaska County arrest
warrant for failure to appear. A Mahaska County deputy transported the subject to the
Mahaska County Jail.
