In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 19 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 8 extra patrol requests, 2 rescue calls, 1 incomplete 911, 1
papers service attempts, 1 reckless driver, 1 dog call, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 animal
bite, 1 return phone call, 1 theft, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours, the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded
80 calls including 29 911 calls.
The Marion County Jail is currently holding 26 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject
was booked into the Marion County Jail: Michael Aaron Bruce, age 36 of Knoxville, was
charged with possession of controlled substance-1,2,3rd, possession of drug
paraphernalia, and driving under suspension.
March 16
In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 34 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 15 motorist assists, 6 extra patrol requests, 2 accidents, 2 rescue calls, returned 2
phone calls, 1 suspicious person, met with 1 subject, 1 salvage tag, 1 missing person, 1
reckless driver, 1 power outage, and 1 other call.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 116 calls including 38 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 24 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the jail: Cooper Eugene Malone, age 18 of Monroe, was charged with possession of
alcohol under age-1st, interference with official acts, possession of a false license/id
card; Gerrit Alex Scholtus, age 23 of Albia, was charged with OWI-1st offense, and
failure to maintain control; Ellen Marie Johnson, age 34 of Knoxville, was charged with
possession of marijuana 2nd .

In the past 24 hours, deputies responded to 33 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 9 motorist assists, 7 paper service attempts, 4 extra patrol requests, 2 rescue, 2
accidents, 1 request to check welfare, 1 dispute, 1 report of debris in the roadway, 1 law
enforcement transport, 1 return call, 1 residential fire alarm, 1 vehicle fire, 1 incomplete
911, and 1 other call for service.
In the past 24 hours, the communications center fielded 91 calls including 21 911 calls.

suspicious vehicle, 1 report of harassment, 1 returned call, 1 report of debris in the
roadway, 1 report of a suspicious person, 1 vehicle unlock, and 1 accident.

bite, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 report of trespass, 1 request to check welfare, 1 report of
suspicious odor, 1 transport, and 1 domestic.

was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and provide proof of financial

Brennan Anthony Clare, age 21 of Knoxville, was charged with judgment entry/mittimus;
Marjorie Kay Shounkwiler, age 44 of Chariton, was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance-3rd, and child endangerment;
Jason Keith Schneider, age 47 of Williamson, was charged with possession of drug
paraphernalia.
