Eschliman earns endorsements
PELLA, IA – It was a whirlwind week for Iowa Senate District 19 candidate Bob Eschliman, who received two major endorsements for his campaign.
The first endorsement came Tuesday from Iowa Liberty Network, a Christian, grassroots, nonpartisan political organization. It is focused on maintaining the liberties endowed by our Creator and works to ensure “authentic, constitutional conservatives” are elected to the state legislature and other public offices in Iowa.
The ILN endorsement statement reads:
“Bob is a bold liberty champion for limited government, property rights, and fiscal restraint. He will defend unborn life from conception, uphold unrestricted Second Amendment rights, empower parents, unleash free-market healthcare and nuclear energy. He stands for real liberty with real results.”
ILN mobilizes its thousands of members to battle for natural rights and individual liberties. It identifies, recruits, and provides financial and strategic support to candidates who have led in the protection of those liberties. It also works to expose corruption and encroachments on those liberties, “serving as a sheepdog.” It also works to inform and educate Iowans on issues, bills, and actions taken, regardless of party.
“We support people, not parties. As such, we will only support candidates for state legislature or a statewide office that have proven they will defend natural rights and individual liberties.”
The second endorsement came Friday from Stand For Health Freedom, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to informing and activating a grassroots movement to protect Americans’ health and families. Since August 2019, through partnerships with local organizations, it has empowered more than 966,000 individuals to directly contact their elected officials and others in positions of influence with the right message at the right time.
This powerful grassroots movement has taken more than 6.5 million actions to preserve and promote informed consent, parental rights, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and privacy. SHF’s local affiliate is Informed Choice Iowa, which advocates for Iowa parents to have all information about vaccines and to make their own choices without government interference.
The SHF endorsement statement reads:
“Bob’s commitment to protecting medical freedom, informed consent, parental rights, religious liberty, privacy, and free speech reflects the very principles that define our nationwide movement of more than one million advocates, and growing. This endorsement comes at a pivotal moment as America’s New Majority continues to rise, a clear sign that voters are ready for leaders who stand for freedom, accountability, and common sense.”
Eschliman said these are the first of likely several more endorsements to come for his campaign as he continues to work with grassroots organizations and local citizens who want to fully restore natural rights and individual liberty in Iowa:
“I am deeply honored by each of these endorsements. Both Iowa Liberty Network and Stand For Health Freedom/Informed Choice Iowa are organizations I have already been working with as I prepare to hit the ground running next January in Des Moines. There is so much more state government can be doing to help the lives of every Iowan.
“I’ve already drafted several bills that are ready to file on Day 1, I’ve developed relationships with other candidates who are running to join me in Des Moines, and I’m working with current House and Senate legislators right now on bills to make schools safer and to address veteran suicides.”
Next up for Eschliman, an appearance on Iowa Firearms Coalition’s Warrior Wednesday podcast with Michael Ware.
