Approximately 80 Iowa National Guard Soldiers Prepare for YearLong European Deployment

The Headquarters of the 734th Regional Support Group (RSG), based at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa, are preparing for a July 2026 deployment in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. 
Operation Atlantic Resolve supports rotational deployments of U.S. forces across Europe to demonstrate America's commitment to NATO allies and partners while enhancing readiness, interoperability and regional security. Their mission will support the operational readiness of U.S. and multinational forces across the Baltic region. 
“The deployment of the 734th Regional Support Group highlights the critical role Iowa Soldiers play in supporting global security and strengthening our alliances abroad,” said Maj. Gen. Stephen Osborn, Adjutant General of the Iowa National Guard. “We are proud of these Soldiers and their continued commitment to serving our nation and our allies.” 
Additional details regarding a sendoff ceremony in Des Moines will be announced at a later date.
