Fab Foodie Fridays continues in July

by Press Release

Fab Foodie Fridays returns in July with more of what Pella loves: free live music, a rotating line-up of food trucks, and The Cellar Peanut Pub’s expanded beer garden. The fun happens every Friday in Pella’s Klokkenspel Plaza from 5 to 7 p.m.
On July 10, we welcome back Day’s Live Music. “I’m thrilled to bring my signature blend of classic rock, pop, and country to Fab Foodie Fridays!” said musician Day Ashworth. “I hope to see you all there for a great evening out!”
Drew Johnson, known for his captivating acoustic sound, is featured on July 17. Evan Collins & the Crumbs bring a mix of new indie folk, storytelling country, and soft rock classics on July 24, and Jake Schrodt will close out July’s calendar with his rock, country, and Americana set on July 31.
“We had more than 200 people attend each of the Fab Foodie Friday events in June,” said Eric Sickler of Spirit of Pella. “We’ve heard fantastic feedback from guests, and we hope to see those numbers grow in July. Join us for delicious food, great music, and fab Friday fun in the heart of downtown Pella!”
We’re excited to welcome Ninas Tacos on July 10th, serving up some of Iowa’s best birria tacos, along with The Outside Scoop, who will be bringing their artisan ice cream. Gonzalez Tacos will be featured on July 17 along with Suikerspin Cotton Candy. Ninas Tacos and Suikerspin Cotton Candy return on July 24, and Barnyard Tenderloin Xpress will be in the plaza on July 31, along with Pella’s own Sweet Henry’s. The Wijn House will have delicious summer wines available on July 10, July 17, and July 31st.
If there is a chance of bad weather, watch Spirit of Pella’s social media pages for any location changes. Our goal is to keep the focus on the fab fun—no matter the forecast!
