Knoxville Schools to dismiss early
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
Due to the persistent heat wave and our Northstar Elementary facility’s limited cooling capacity, building temperatures have reached levels that are no longer conducive to a safe and productive learning environment.
To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff, Knoxville Schools will dismiss 2-hours early today through Friday.

Transportation: Buses will run early following our standard early dismissal schedule.

Lunch: Lunch will be served before dismissal.

After-School Programs: Middle School sports are canceled for today and High School activities will be modified. More information will be sent through the Activities Department.
