Dutch men go up five spots in national cross country poll

PELLA-In the first edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's weekly Division III national rankings, the Central College men's team moved up to No. 25.

The Dutch men were No. 30 in the preseason poll. Central's women's team remained at No. 30, the same spot as it was in the regional poll.

In the new issue of the regional rankings, the women were once again No. 4 and the men were No. 5.

New York University leads the way in the women's national poll and Johns Hopkins University (Md.) paces the men's list.

Central hosts the Dutch Open on Friday, September 25 at 4:45 p.m.
