Pella Police Report

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Aug. 25-31, 2024: 194 calls for service, 20 traffic citations, 65 traffic warnings, 15 parking tickets, eight accidents, zero arrests, one charge, one juvenile referral and three warrant arrests. 
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS 
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities during the same period: 222 incoming telephone calls and 60 total incoming 911 calls. 
JUVENILE REFERRAL: 
:: On 08/31/24, a juvenile from Pella was referred to Juvenile Court Services for criminal mischief 5th degree. The juvenile was cited and released to a guardian. 
WARRANTS: 
:: On 08/29/24, a subject from Des Moines was picked up on a Des Moines PD arrest warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle. The subject was transported to the Marion County Jail to await extradition. 
:: On 08/30/24, a subject from Pella was picked up on a Marion County arrest warrant for violation of a no contact order. A Marion County Deputy transported the subject to the Marion County Jail. 
:: On 08/30/24, a subject from Pella was picked up on a Mahaska County arrest warrant for failure to appear. The subject was transported to the Mahaska County Jail.
