Pella Police Report Nov. 17-23, 2024

The Pella Police Department engaged in the following activities during the week of Nov.
17-23, 2024: 160 calls for service, 13 traffic citations, 29 traffic warnings, one parking
ticket, five accidents, two arrests, 10 charges, one juvenile referral and one warrant
arrest.
COMMUNICATION CENTER WEEKLY STATS
The Pella Police Department Communications Center engaged in the following activities
during the same period: 279 incoming telephone calls and 30 total incoming 911 calls.
ARRESTS:
• On 11/20/24, a subject from Pleasantville was charged with driving while revoked. The
subject was pretrial released with a court date.
• On 11/22/24, a subject from What Cheer was charged with driving while revoked, and
operating a vehicle without interlock. The subject was incarcerated.
JUVENILE REFERRALS:
• On 11/20/24, a juvenile from Monroe was referred to Juvenile Court Services for three
counts of attempt to commit murder, two counts of willful injury resulting in bodily injury,
assault with intent to conflict serious injury, and a minor armed with a dangerous
weapon. The juvenile was transported to a juvenile detention center.
WARRANTS:
• On 11/22/24, a subject from Ottumwa was picked up on a warrant out of Boone
County. The subject was transported to the Marion County Jail to await extradition.
