Dec 24
In the past 24 hours, Marion County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 20 calls for service
including, but not limited to: 5 extra patrols, 3 motorist assists, 3 return calls, 2 rescues,
1 wanted person, 1 dog, 1 paper service attempt, 1 welfare check, 1 report of a
suspicious item, 1 accident, 1 report of animal neglect, and 1 domestic.
In the past 24 hours the Marion County Sheriff’s office communications center fielded 73
calls including 24 911 calls.
The Marion County jail is currently holding 14 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects
were booked into the Marion County Jail: Tristen Allen Harrell, age 26 of Garden Grove,
charged with driving while barred; Jason Wayne Pettyjohn, age 42 of Hamilton, charged
with driving while barred; Devon James Crandall, age 21 of Knoxville, charged with
OWI-first, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-
marijuana first.

Dec. 25
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 25 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 6 extra patrol requests, 4 motorist assists, 2 reckless drivers, 2 paper service
attempts, 2 report of suspicious vehicles, 1 rescue, 1 vehicle inspection, 1 deer, 1 theft,
1 wanted person, 1 request to check welfare, 1 domestic, and 2 other calls for service.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 67 calls including 19 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 12 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Sammie Jo McFall, age 31 of Oskaloosa, charged with driving while license
denied/revoked, OWI, operating without ignition interlock and possession of a controlled
substance-third.

Dec 26
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 27 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 5 extra patrol requests, 5 paper service attempts, 4 rescue calls, 4 reckless drivers, 2
incomplete 911s, 2 welfare checks, 1 domestic, 1 motorist assist, 1 debris call, and 1
other call.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 76 calls including 36 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 13 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Lacey Nichole Reynolds, age 37 of Knoxville, charged with nine counts of theft-
fifth.

Dec 27
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 41 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 20 extra patrol requests, 5 rescue calls, 3 follow up calls, 2 incomplete 911s, 2
motorist, 2 return call, 1 paper service attempt, 1 vehicle unlock, met with 1 subject, 1
animal bite, 1 fraud, 1 animal call, and 1 suspicious person.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 93 calls including 36 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 13 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Richard Dean Fletcher of Knoxville, charged with possession of a controlled
substance-second and domestic assault with a weapon-first.

In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 29 calls for service including but not limited
to: 9 extra patrol requests, 6 paper service attempts, 3 rescue calls, 2 motorist assists, 1
transport, 1 dog bite, 1 fraud, 1 trespass, 1 domestic, 1 welfare check, 1 incomplete
911, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 96 calls including 49 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 11 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 1 subject was booked into
the jail: Shane Edward Puffinbarger, age 49 of Knoxville, charged with OWI-second
offense.

Dec 29
In the past 24 hours deputies responded to 32 calls for service including, but not limited
to: 10 extra patrol requests, 3 accidents, 3 rescue calls, 3 livestock calls, 3 paper
service attempts, 2 reckless drivers, 1 suspicious vehicle, 1 fraud, 1 civil call, met with
one subject, 1 parking complaint, 1 disturbing peace and quiet, and 2 other calls.
In the past 24 hours the communications center fielded 94 calls including 27 911 calls.
The jail is currently holding 13 subjects. In the past 24 hours, 3 subjects were booked
into the Marion County Jail: Zackary Allen Wallace, age 30 of Pleasantville, charged
with possession of marijuana-first; Hunter John Wilson, age 20 of Osceola, charged with
OWI-first, interference with official acts, theft-fifth, escape from custody, possession of a
false license/ID card, careless driving, reckless driving, and harassment-first; Noah
Jordan Graves, age 20 of Melcher-Dallas, charged with OWI-second.
